This is the angle at which the wheel scraped down the runway
For the photo, you can see the nose wheel was ground down to the hub by scraping on the runway. It is important to understand that with the nose gear in this 90 degree cocked position, the tire simply skids, and the plane can be stopped straight ahead. The plane was never in any danger. But since this is the second time this has happened to JetBlue (and it happens due to maintenance errors when overhauling the nose wheel steering unit) it doesn't speak well for JetBlue's maintenance quality control. They should have gotten their act together after the first incident (if not before even that one).
